Excel Equipment expands interactive fitness, exergame segment with the acquisition of iDance / iSTEP

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. - Aug. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Excel Equipment expands its already strong portfolio in interactive fitness segment with the acquisition of iDANCE and iSTEP from Positive Gaming.

Excel Equipment recently took over iDANCE and iSTEP, a dominant product line in DDR market from Positive Gaming. This is yet another strategic acquisition to further enhance Excel's position as emerging leading player in the international exergaming market, following their ownership of companies such as Motion Fitness / Exergame Fitness, Fit Interactive and Makoto USA.

iDANCE and iSTEP were created by Positive Gaming, a process that started in 2004, as the original wireless multiplayer dance game product for up to 32 players. iDANCE has held up to the test of time and competition, iDANCE is by far the most successful, and currently the only remaining product of its caliber in commercial DDR market.
