"Touchdown for Troops" Charity Fundraiser Featuring Southern Experience and Ashley Wineland

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Sept. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- EDANA Entertainment Announces that their Rising Stars, Country Rock band, Southern Experience, will be co-billing with Official CMT Artist, Ashley Wineland in Shelby, NC next month. Skooterz Saloon will be holding a fundraiser on Friday, September 9th for the non-profit, "No Greater Sacrifice."

This is not the first time Country Rock band, Southern Experience will perform for a charitable cause, and it will certainly not be the last. Their hearts are as big as their talent, and when the opportunity to support a      veterans-related charity, they do not hesitate to get involved. According to Southern Experience front man, Scott Sanders: "There really isn't anything we wouldn't do for our veterans. Many gave up everything,        including their own lives, so we can continue to be free. An organization like "No Greater Sacrifice" that is  actually trying to raise awareness and make sure the children of our veterans are not denied an education ...can count on our support for sure. The opportunity to collaborate with Ashley Wineland is the icing on the cake."

The event will mark the first collaboration between Southern Experience and Ashley Wineland. While they have never shared the same stage, they did coincidentally grace the cover of the same global music          publication, Ion Indie Magazine. Editor-In-Chief, Kiki Plesha, who also serves as Ashley's publicist, had the opportunity to catch a performance by Southern Experience. It was this performance that would plant the seed for future collaborations. It was at that moment that Ms. Plesha realized that these two powerhouses had brands and sounds that would gel very well together. Conversations with the bands agent, Anita Sayago (EDANA Entertainment), confirmed that a collaboration was imminent. When Anita Sayago was approached by USC's, Beta Theta Pi to have Southern Experience perform for their fundraiser benefiting "No Greater   Sacrifice," she did not hesitate to call Kiki to see if Ashley and her band were available.

The fundraiser, which is titled "Touchdown for Troops" will be held at Breaker's Bar and Grill (801 Harden Street, Columbia, South Carolina, 29205). This event will be benefitting the non-profit, "No Greater Sacrifice." "No Greater Sacrifice" (NGS) is dedicated to the children of our nation's fallen and wounded Service       members delivering scholarships and resources to improve their quality of life through the pursuit of higher education. USC's fraternity, Beta Theta Pi will be hosting the event from 3pm until 7pm on September 10th.
