Follow on Google News | Artists Invited To Capture Views On Canvas From 1,000 Feet Above The Magnificent Mile360 CHICAGO offers artists a first-time opportunity to place an easel and canvas in a limited number of spots around the 94th floor observatory every Wednesday evening in September from 4-8 p.m. for Art in the Sky. Registration is required.
By: 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck Artists will be welcomed to the highest art studio in Chicago free of charge between 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, September 7, 14, 21, and 28. Registration is mandatory, and a limited number of spaces are reserved and location on the floor is first-come, first-served. Each artist is responsible for providing individual painting supplies, easel and canvas. 360 Chicago is home of the thrilling TILT ride and this Wednesday event complements the free programming already in place through the Sunset Series on the 94th floor. Through the Sunset Series, free weekly activities for general admission ticket-holders offers programming on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for photography and architecture buffs, and those who enjoy music at sunset. The Architect's Corner Café & Bar serves artisanal small bites and beverages including specialty cocktails, wine, and craft beers visitors can enjoy on west-facing stadium seats designed for relaxing and sunset gazing.
