Backdrop Violet, Peace and Chaos, Astoryia, and Maximus on Punkstar FULL Throttle

HOUSTON - Sept. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- ANNOUNCING Punkstar's Full Throttle live music showcase and radio broadcast, hosted by Chris Calderas and Khris Harding featuring guest Blackdrop Violet, Peace and Chaos, Astroryia, and Maximus tonight at 9 p.m. CST on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 live at Scout Bar (18307 Egret Bay Blvd. Houston, Texas 77058).  Listeners can tune in on punkstarradio.com.

Since January 2016, one of Houston's new sensations hardrock local band Astoryia is making a huge name for itself. Not just locally, but nationally! Opening recently for national touring acts such as, Saving Abel, Lacey Sturm, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, and Thousand Foot Krutch just to name a few.

Khris Harding exclaims, "It's going down tonight, Be there!"

Frontman and lead singer Patrick Gamble's hypnotic powerhouse performance definitely is impressive. Their debut album is set to be released in December, 2016. Astroyia "The Void" is a deep methodical tune. Members also include the killer rhythms of Mike Carroll (Guitar), Trey Klecka (Guitar), Tommy Gamble (Drums), and Josh Pddgett (Bass).

Welcoming all the way from Kansas City, Punkstar's national guest this week is the headlining rock band Maximus. Members include Blackie Starks (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Mike Peters (Drums), Steven Lampley (Guitar/vocals) Brandon Orton (Bass).

Peace and The Chaos from Texas is a three piece Rock Soul band, influenced by the Rock of the 60's and 70's. All three, Guitarist and singer Billy Beaumont, Drummer Ken Turner, and Bassist Len Sonnier are seasoned veterans and songwriters who cut their teeth on a wide variety of the best music ever made. Their sound together is timeless.

Opening band, Backdrop Violet? Backdrop Violet is a hybrid genre rock band out of Houston, Texas. On August 18, 2016 they headlined at Scout Bar releasing some more of their new music. Vocalist Blake Melanson, Garrett Anderson Guitar, Bassist Eric, and Drummer Tyler McGlashen just released their single "Victory" in April. Sounds like a debut album and tour in the works….
