"Formed in 2016, Nicole Starch and Torpedoed Heart combine the lyrics of Nicole Starch with Michael Helfenstein (of The Grizzly Band) slide guitar and Adam Carmen's dynamic percussion skills. Originally a solo act, this band is building momentum in Houston's music scene as a singular rock country band." Nicole Starch From Colorado Spring, Colorado, Nicole Starch is a Writing Associate at the University of Houston (Downtown) where she is also Studies Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition. We weren't too sure what exactly we could expect from this talented woman of rock. "Will she be solo or gracing us with a performance with her new band?" I curiously ask Roland. Relaying the question, Roland receives an exciting response from Nicole. "For tomorrow, I'll be acoustic, but we are a full band called Torpedoed Heart. Still auditioning players as I have been collaborating with The Grizzly Band until last Saturday." Nicole Starch Founded in October 2012, from Phoenix, Arizona. D3RIO is an electric blend of rhythmic soulful funky jazz. Desmond Fahie describes his sound as, "A bad prescribing music just like sex; fun funking and sel expressive."
