RN Achieves Masters of Herbology Designation

INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. - Sept. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Dr. Corinne Weaver, DC, is pleased to announce that after completing three years of herbal studies, Ann Berryman of Charlotte, NC achieved her Masters of Herbology designation offered through the School of Natural Healing at the College of Herbal Medicine.

Berryman is a registered nurse and an integral part of Dr. Weaver's Wellness U Team as practice administrator and nutritional herbalist for Upper Cervical Wellness Center. Herbology is a passion for Berryman and she continues to live her life's mission in helping people transform their lives through the art of natural healing.

To complete her studies, Ann had to attend the Master Herbalist Seminar held in Springville, Utah. This seminar was five and a half days long and included daily lectures on pharmocognosy (a branch of knowledge concerned with medicinal drugs obtained from plants or other natural sources), botany, nutrition, herbal preparations, plant identification, application of herbal preparations, and understanding the philosophy of herbology. Each day started with a test on the previous day's lecture material and the whole week was wrapped up by identifying 100 herbs with their Latin names and uses.
