Dr. Garrett Roy Joins Upper Cervical Wellness Center In Indian Trail, North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Upper Cervical Wellness Center in Indian Trail, NC is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Garrett Roy to their chiropractic practice earlier this year. Dr. Roy joins the practice due to its continued growth and commitment in delivering quality chiropractic care combined with the use of digital thermography, therapeutic massage, and nutrition & weight loss programs for a growing number of patients.

Dr. Roy is a graduate of Logan University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic. He is returning to his hometown of Charlotte, NC after owning his own practice of 20 years in Smackover, AR.  His mission is to educate patients on all aspects of leading healthier, happier lives through upper cervical chiropractic with a specialty in pediatrics, sports injuries and geriatrics. In addition to chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Roy will make recommendations on exercise and nutrition as a part of the patient’s recommended treatment plan.

Dr. Roy’s life was saved by emergency chiropractic care when he was a toddler of 18 months. After having a temperature of 104° for three consecutive days, his mother followed a medical professional’s instructions to give him aspirin and check in every 4 hours, to no avail.  His grandmother recommended a chiropractor that came to their house. Two hours after an adjustment, the fever broke and his quick recovery confirmed his mother’s and grandmother’s belief in chiropractic care. This experience as a young boy instilled in him a deep commitment to pursue an education in chiropractic care to alleviate diseases that the chiropractic field was unaware could be helped.
