Solid Earth, Inc. Partners With RPR® Through Advanced Multi-List Platform

CHICAGO - Sept. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Solid Earth, Inc, a real estate software company, is pleased to announce it will integrate Spring with Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®), a nationwide parcel-centric real estate data and reporting platform, to offer the Advanced Multi-List Platform™ (AMP™) to its 78,000 subscribers.

Spring allows an MLS to swap out its backend system while retaining the user experience for a more stable operating environment. Spring also allows members to plug into the API and create their own user interfaces. Moreover, distributing the data through the Application Program Interface (API) provides a highly granular look at who is using what data and when, for accounting purposes.

"Since Spring was built on an API, rewiring part of the product to pull data from the AMP API versus the Spring API is easy" said Solid Earth Co-Founder and CEO Matt Fowler. "For Spring customers, the user interface fits on the Spring API and will fit on the AMP API as well. This will allow Spring customers to sustain the user experience consumers and agents have become accustomed to while allowing the MLS to upgrade their backend technology or change providers."

AMP™, a technological initiative that will reimagine the architecture of the modern MLS system, allows application developers to provide a broad range of products so that MLSs can offer subscribers choice and flexibility in the tools they provide. AMP™ separates the back-end database, where listing information and data are stored, from the front-end user application that an agent or appraiser uses to ask for data. By separating the front end from the back end, AMP™ makes possible an entirely new generation of software tools that agents can pick and choose from.
