Award-Winning Singer-Songwriter LiLi Roquelin working on New Album's Production

NEW YORK - Sept. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Since the release of her critically acclaimed 2013 album Beautiful Sun, she has put out four collaborative projects including the edgy electronic song "Abolitionistas".  Produced by Titus in 2015, "Abolitionistas" is a benefit song to support the non-profit organization Freedom Ladder in their mission to stop child trafficking.

Featured in Film Festivals worldwide, her music video "Like a Feather" is a companion piece to her piano-based ballad of the same name from her album Beautiful Sun.  The video perfectly illustrates the processes of forgiving and letting go and features Animation by Indie Venture with footage directed by Pat Jung. It earned the "Rising Star Award" at the 11th Canada International Film Festival in Vancouver in April.

In March Roquelin launched a special "Every Other Monday Video" Playlist on her popular YouTube channel, with cover performance videos of such classics as "Dreams" (Fleetwood Mac), "Breathe Me" (Sia), "I've Got this Friend" (The Civil Wars), "And Your Bird Can Sing" (The Beatles), and a unique, fan-favorite Ukulele cover of The Offspring's "Why don't you get a Job".

She also plays the ukulele on her new performance video called "Petunia's Song".  The song is quite a departure from her previous material and already has her fans wondering just what her new album will sound like.

LiLi recalls writing the song in question saying: "I picked up the Ukulele just for fun originally and didn't think I'd write or record anything with it.  The songs for this new album have a different mood, still with a lot of piano, but more upbeat, more morning songs than evening songs, so using the Uke came naturally."
