AFRL Selects UES As A Winner of $43.75M Contract

DAYTON, Ohio - Sept. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- The US AFRL, long a home of world-class scientific efforts, has been recently extending the scope of its efforts. There is a renewed focus on the timely and cost-effective translation of promising basic research into designs, and developing solutions for broadly defined military needs. In recognition of this evolving domain, AFRL's Materials and Manufacturing Directorate has selected UES Inc. as a winner of the $43.75million, 8-year Technical OPerations Support V (TOPS-V) contract.

UES will provide technical support under this contract in the areas of  Functional Materials and Applications, Structural Materials and Applications, Manufacturing and Industrial Technologies, Systems Support, and New and Emerging Technology in Materials and Manufacturing.

The eight year contract will position UES as a core partner to AFRL as it drives the increasingly important mission of developing new materials and processes. Through this contract, UES will provide a wide variety of services, through rapid response task orders of various magnitudes.  The TOPS-V award builds on UES' existing relationship with AFRL, as the firm continues to be one of the premier providers of scientific and technological services.
