Brandon Wildish Announces Release Date For New EP Other Side

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Sept. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Brandon Wildish is a voice that thousands of Orange County residents have heard or seen live, but may not know by name yet. As a notable live cover artist who plays 7-8 days a week around Southern California, Wildish has been a local favorite at some of the area's favorite restaurants, private venues and concert halls. On October 21^st Wildish will release his new EP, Other Side via online retailers such as Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon MP3. This marks his 2^nd release of original music written by the passionate and musically diverse Southern California native.

Other Side is 4 original indie-pop tracks penned by Wildish that cover a range of lyrical topics ranging from taking risks, unique perspectives on love and even revealing some of his recent personal enlightenment and growth. Even though he is passionate about playing live and adding his twist to music hits, Wildish will always long to write and produce his own music. Other Side is the follow-up to his 2013 debut album, and was co-produced by Heather Baker (Anti-Wave) in the Long Beach area over the Summer of 2016.

Growing up in Orange County, Wildish was raised in a musical family and learned at a young age that playing guitar was a lifelong journey. Influenced by groups ranging from Bad Religion to Jethro Tull and James Taylor, he developed his own style and quickly found himself playing weekly shows in the Orange County area at notable restaurants and hotspots. Not everyone can make a living playing music, let alone cover songs, and Wildish has proven that hard work and quality relationships can open doors and make loyal fans. In 2013 he released his first album 'Simplicities' which was his first solo venture into self-released material. Prior to Other Side and Simplicities, he wrote music and played guitar in the successful alternative/pop group Hope Departed. Wildish also recently received his Master's in Counseling Psychology, and gives credit to his continued education towards his success in the music business.

About Brandon Wildish:

Brandon Wildish first picked up the guitar a little over 15 years ago and has been a gigging musician for 12 of those years. Early in his career he played intimate settings such as small venues and coffee shops. Years later he helped create the alternative rock group called Hope Departed. Brandon was in this band for several years and had an opportunity to play with other great bands like Bad Religion, Kotton Mouth Kings, Pepper, A Static Lullaby, Over It, and more.

Brandon released his debut solo album (Simplicities) in November 2013. Blending the sounds of both acoustic folk and alternative rock, Brandon has been described as sounding similar to Jason Mraz and Cartel, with classic rock roots similar to that of Pink Floyd. Currently, Brandon is back in the studio recording tracks for his next album.

In addition to his original work, Brandon has made his living playing at various restaurants and private parties; covering a variety of songs and musical genres.
