GZA promotes Daniel Stapleton to Senior Principal

NORWOOD, Mass. - Sept. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- GZA, a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Daniel Stapleton has been promoted to Senior Principal in the Norwood, Massachusetts office.

Stapleton is a Senior Vice President of GZA and has been with the firm since 1989.  His areas of specialization are geotechnical, ocean and marine and waterfront engineering. Stapleton's professional focus is on the application of risk-based decision making to engineering and geosciences projects.

Stapleton holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Lawrence University and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Civil and Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Stapleton's professional memberships include the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Geo Institute and the ASCE Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute.  He is also a member of Engineers Without Borders.
