By: PR First Tours are available on Thursday, January 9 at 6 pm; Thursday January 16th at 3:30 pm; and Thursday January 23 at 6 pm. A coffee hour and tour will be held on Saturday January 25th at 10 am and an Enrollment Open House will be held on Thursday, February 6th at 6 pm with a snow date of February 11 at 6 pm. Registration for events in recommended by visiting www.glcps.org. Applications are available on their website at www.glcps.org and are accepted through February 28, 2025. GLCPS is a public school; therefore, there is no fee to attend. Applicants are selected through a blind lottery that takes place each year in March. There are no interviews, admissions tests, or review of a student's previous school records. All students, including English language learners and special education students in New Bedford entering grades 5 through 10 are welcome to apply. Families are encouraged to start their school planning early as the best chance for a student to enter GLCPS is by applying in the 4th grade to start in the 5th grade. About Global Learning Charter Public School Open to New Bedford residents, Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS) is a tuition-free public charter school that currently serves 500 students in grades 5-12.
