Fashion Week Brooklyn (FWBK) Held Press Conference to Announce S/S2017 Upcoming Fashion Week Season

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - Sept. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Fashion Week Brooklyn, the Official Fashion Week of the Borough, held a press conference today, to announce details for its upcoming Spring/Summer 2017 Season. Brooklyn News 12 and members of the press, along with Fashion Week Brooklyn's supporters and partners attended the highly anticipated bi-annual gathering. Fashion Week Brooklyn opens Saturday, October 1st thru October 8th; with runway shows featuring international emerging designers, pop-up shops and art exhibits in various locations throughout Brooklyn.

The agenda commenced with welcoming remarks from Fashion Week Brooklyn's Executive Director Abby Wallach, who announced upcoming details about FWBK's Spring/Summer 2017 season's schedule, activities and upcoming developments. Brooklyn Borough President Senior Advisor Ingrid P. Lewis-Martin, followed with supporting remarks on behalf of Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams.

The fashionable closing of the conference included a fashion portfolio showcase featuring designs by: SAKU NY, Imani Parke, Jamileh Nadelmann and Tyran Marquis who will all debut on the runway at Fashion Week Brooklyn S/S2017 next week.
