Fuzziwig's Candy Factory Opens in Polaris Fashion Place

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Oct. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Retail candy and specialty toy franchisor, Fuzziwig's Candy Factory, Inc. announced its third location in Columbus the last week of August.  The new store will be located in very trendy Polaris Fashion Place.

The owners, Mark and Erin Dandrea commented, "there isn't anything remotely like our Fuzziwig's Candy Factory Stores anywhere in the Central Ohio area. So when folks come to visit, it's special because with few exceptions they haven't seen anything like it before."

The retail candy store is fun and whimsical with bright colors, smells of caramel and fudge, and pieces that imitate a candy factory decorate the store.

The "amusement park" atmosphere is for children and adults to enjoy while they shop:

• Over 1,400 varieties of conventional, unusual, and nostalgic candies prepackaged and in bulk bins throughout the store.
• Store-made chocolates & fudge
• Novelty soft-drinks (Zombie Juice, Dog Drool, etc.), caramel apples, and chocolate covered strawberries & dried fruits
• Specialty & novelty toys, plush animals, and collectibles
• Unpretentious décor which creates a "COZY" shopping environment

With Fuzziwig's unique nostalgia candy line many customers have exclaimed "we haven't seen this candy since we were kids"! The franchise has been designed to "take folks back in time to their childhoods" and appeal to "Kids and Kids at Heart". To re-establish this theme, the staff even where shirts that say "we are all just kids at heart".

Founded in 1995, Fuzziwig's Candy Factory, Inc. initially consisted of company-owned stores only.  In 2001 the company launched its franchise program and quickly grew to 28 stores throughout the US.  Today there are 47 stores state-side, The Bahamas, Guam, and locations soon to be opened in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai.  FCF is based in Colorado with offices in Durango and Steamboat Springs.
