MIAMI - Oct. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Affirming Youth Leadership is the flagship mentoring program created by Jonathan Spikes, Founder and President of the Jonathan Spikes Foundation. The organization has been selected for the work they do to help heal broken bonds and give youth a second chance, or in so many cases a first glimmer of hope for their future. This is achieved through the strength of the program's core curriculum which teaches young people to monitor, understand, and manage their stress, anger as well as other difficult emotions that they encounter.

"I'm humbled by this acknowledgment for the work we are doing in our schools and local communities," said Spikes. "Utilizing our proven intervention/prevention strategies to empower our youth is showing to be very effective in them managing and maintaining themselves.
