PebbleGo Vote Introduces K–2 Students to Democracy by Letting Them Vote for the Next President

MINNEAPOLIS - Oct. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Capstone's K–2 online learning platform PebbleGo (https://www.pebblego.com/login/) today introduced PebbleGo Vote (http://www.capstonepub.com/sites/PebbleGo_Vote/index.html) in conjunction with this year's presidential election. PebbleGo Vote is a free election-season resource where children can research the presidential candidates, learn about the history of democracy, and cast their ballot for the candidate of their choice.

PebbleGo Vote invites students to learn the importance of making their voices heard—while learning about various elected offices and past presidents. PebbleGo Vote will keep a national tally of students' votes, and schools that pre-registered between September 15 and September 30 can track which candidate wins at their individual school.

PebbleGo focuses on K–2 research, and includes interactive lessons about animals, biographies, and science. Younger students who want to independently use PebbleGo can have all content read aloud in recordings by professional voiceover artists—no robotic text-to-speech. Several of the lessons are also offered in Spanish.

Participation in PebbleGo Vote is open to all, not just PebbleGo subscribers. Non-subscribers can sign up for free access to a selection of election-related content, including articles on Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Students are invited to vote for their favorite candidate for President of the United States at PebbleGo.com/Vote (http://www.pebblego.com/Vote). Voting opens on October 10 and runs through Election Day, November 8. The winner of PebbleGo Vote will be announced on November 9.
