Indonesia International Tourists Comparison with Thailand and Malaysia

ROSWELL, Ga. - Oct. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- The government of Indonesia gives more attention to this island in comparison to other tourist places in Indonesia. Till the first 5 months of 2015, Bali received more than 1.5 Million international tourists. It's an 11.3 percentage point increase compared to same phase last year. The government of Indonesia is targeting 20 Million international tourists by the end of 2020.

Indonesia lags behind its Asian peers, in terms of attracting foreign tourists. In order to increase its number of international tourists Indonesian Government has taken several initiatives.

•The marketing budget of Indonesian government has increased to IDR 1 Trillion in 2015.

•Allowing of visa-free entry to people of 30 countries with the maximum duration of 30 days

•These 30 countries are Austria, Britain, Belgium, Bahrain, China, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirate and the United States.
