NOLA Music Awards announces 4 days of exciting events

LAFAYETTE, La. - Oct. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- The NOLA Music is a centralized awards showcase, giving appropriate appreciation, respect and honor to New Orleans area entertainers and artists who exemplify the essential aspects of the city's long history and unique culture. New Orleans culture is not only a way of life, but pumps billions of dollars into the global economy each year. The awards platform was created nearly a decade ago, with the idea of honoring the many globally known music acts that have helped to promote in a positive manner, along with the the culture and beautiful people that hail from the City of New Orleans. The NOLA Music Awards continues to grow its brand exponentially, with plans to expand even further in years to come.

Awards week events begin on Thursday, October 20^th, commencing with The Writer's Block/NOLA Music Awards Edition at Café Istanbul. Doors open at 8 p.m. On Friday beginning at 5 p.m., Three Keys at The ACE Hotel is the spot for the Welcome to New Orleans event hosted by House of the Young's own Edward Buckles and Jasmine Roussell. Saturday's exiting and long anticipated, annual awards show will be held at The Saenger Theater, with red carpet beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Show is set to start promptly at 7 p.m. On Sunday, October 24^th, Abstract NOLA presents the wrap up event at The Social. Doors open at 9 p.m., hosted by Sheba Da Songwriter, and will consist of cyphers and more exciting visual and audio art. Sponsors include JBL, Goodbird NOLA, Goodwood NOLA, Dusse, Tidal, WWOZ, and Revolt TV.
