Grown Girls 4 Cure Lupus Fundraiser Connects Community Leaders with Lupus Fundraiser on Sept. 30th

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - Sept. 15, 2017 - PRLog -- Join Grown Girls NY for their Annual Grown Girls 4 Cure Lupus Fundraiser honoring everyday survivors living with Lupus on September 30th, 2017 at the Percy Jackson Youth Center located at 436 South Franklin Street, Hempstead, NY 11550 from 4-8pm.

Help GGNYC support and raise awareness about Lupus, the silent disease that touches so many people yearly. A portion of the proceeds will be generously donated to the Individual honorees for the GGNYC Lupus Fundraiser.

"Every Year Grown Girls New York City, a Grown Girls network brings notice to health issues that are plaguing everyday lives and this year "we want to show support of our honorees, sponsors and Grown Girls NYC Members who may have been touched by Lupus", states Yolanda Brathwaite, Founder of Grown Girls New York City and the Grown Girls 4 Cure Fundraiser.

Yolanda expresses passionately, "I am a strong believer in supporting women and Women's Health. And learning that so many women around me are affected by this disease, I just felt the urge to learn more about it and support them in anyway I could and I chose this way." Yolanda wanted to bridge the gap of educating the community about the disease and the struggle that comes with Lupus.

Come celebrate & support Grown Girls 4 Cure Lupus Fundraiser and enjoy vendors, guests speakers, food, drinks & more! Grown Girls 4 Cure Lupus Fundraiser attendees will get the opportunity to shop with local vendors and entrepreneurs, from eyewear with Styles By Styless, Queen TuT Tees and other products and services.

Special guests speakers to be announced with awarded honorees Karen Bigby, Dee Dee Maness and Taressa O'Neal.

The evening will also include a fashion show, raffles, sponsors, giveaways, with special supportive appearances by Nassau County's Elected Officials including Legislator Siela Bynoe, Assemblywoman Michelle Solages and many others.
