Renee Mill's Method for Managing Anxiety to be Published in Australian Academic Press

Nov. 2, 2016 - PRLog -- Renee Mill has been a clinical psychologist for thirty years, as well as an occupational therapist.  She has spent her life helping and empowering others emotionally, both in their relationships as well as in their work.  Even while working full-time at her practice in Sydney, she has written three books.  Her most recent being "Anxiety Free, Drug Free," which is a self-help manual for managing anxiety.

"Anxiety Free, Drug Free" was Impact Press's best seller for 2016, showing that there is clearly an audience for this book, with one in four people suffering from anxiety.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the treatment the method is based on, is the gold standard of treating stress, anxiety and depression.  Mill's ninety day program rewires the brain using repetition, self-reflection, daily planners and worksheets.  She teaches you the necessary skills to recognize and analyze negative thoughts and behaviors, stop them in their tracks and move forward to a better, healthier, anxiety-free you.

Mill says that even though visiting a therapist can be useful in the short-term, waiting for change or a cure to magically come along is not enough.  The success of "Anxiety Free, Drug Free" shows that the self-help method can be rewarding, and defeat your anxiety.  Renee Mill's treatment method has been so successful, both as a self-help manual and in her clinical practice, that it is being published in the Australian Academic Press.  There it will be sold to other psychologists to use with their clients.  The manual will be published in early 2017, and her book "Anxiety Free, Drug Free" is available now on Kindle.
