Donate to Subaru South Orlando's Thanksgiving Food Drive

ORLANDO, Fla. - Nov. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Subaru South Orlando is proud to present the Thanksgiving Food Drive, which will benefit House of Hope Orlando, a home for healing teens. We are collecting canned food items and other non-perishables for the Thanksgiving holiday season. If you'd like to participate, stop by our dealership to drop off your donations throughout the month of November for up to 10% off your next service.*

House of Hope Orlando is currently seeking the following canned foods:

    • Cream of mushroom, cream of broccoli, tomato sauce, chicken noodle soup, clam chowder, tomato soup, refried beans, black beans, canned pumpkin, canned cranberries, green beans, and corn

The following non-canned foods are in demand as well:

    • Macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, rice (yellow and white), and pasta

House of Hope Orlando has been helping hurting teens find hope and restoration since 1985. After teaching in the public school system and a state-operated detention center for 25 years, Founder and President Sara Trollinger established the institution. After witnessing the revolving doors of the social service system firsthand, Trollinger was inspired to find a way to give teens a chance to succeed despite having troubled upbringings. House of Hope stands today as a non-denominational, not-for-profit, Christ-centered residential program for teens ages 13-17.

After running for over 30 years, House of Hope continues to be a place for teens to find hope and healing through a loving and supportive environment.
