By: IntegraCare The special ceremony will be part of a breakfast event on Saturday, Nov. 12. Breakfast will be served at 10 a.m. with the ceremony set to follow at 11 a.m. The public is welcome to attend the gathering at 824 Lisburn Road in Camp Hill. Veterans will be admitted free to the ceremony. The Woods at Cedar Run is asking for a $3 donation from all others who participate in the breakfast event. "This will be a very special ceremony as we unveil the Veterans Wall dedicated to the 47 veterans who are living in our senior living community," said Courtney Bolinsky, Executive Director of The Woods at Cedar Run. The Veterans Wall was created on an existing wall near the community's dining room and theater. The 20-foot long wall includes five flags representing each of the United States Armed Forces. The 2-by-3 foot flags are framed and under glass. The Junior ROTC from nearby Cedar Cliff High School will perform a flag folding ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 12, and an American Flag will be placed in a display box to be included on the Veterans Wall, which will be a permanent shrine. "This wall will continue to grow," said Julie Seifried, Director of Independent Living Operations and Sales at The Woods. "We see this wall as a living thing. We're not only honoring the current veterans who reside at The Woods. In the future we will honor veterans who move into our community."
