The most recent check, presented on November 10th, was to Operation Lift Hope, an organization dedicated to eliminating homelessness for veterans and families. The additional three recipients of the Community Champions Grant Program included Trees of Hope, a non-profit organization committed to preventing sexual abuse; the non-profit HANDY, an organization dedicated to helping children and young adults who have been removed from their homes due to domestic violence, substance abuse, physical and/or sexual abuse and abandonment; Those checks were presented at Florida Panthers games on Oct. 20, Oct.22 and Nov.1.
