Moss Foundation partners with Florida Panthers Foundation

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nov. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Moss Foundation has partnered with the Florida Panthers Foundation to be the presenting sponsor of the Florida Panthers Foundation Community Champions Grant Program. Announced by Florida Panthers Ownership on opening night and a commitment to $5 million over 5 years, the grant program allows charitable organizations in South Florida to request financial support for programs and initiatives that benefit the local community.

As the presenting sponsor of the Florida Panthers Foundation Community Champions Grant Program, Moss Foundation was instrumental in the selection process and more specifically targeting four local non-profit organizations this year. The most recent check, presented on November 10^th, was to Operation Lift Hope, an organization dedicated to eliminating homelessness for veterans and families.

"Moss Foundation strives to contribute to the community in tangible ways that produce an immediate and positive impact on our neighbors," said Chad Moss, President of Moss Foundation. "Partnering with the Florida Panthers Foundation increases our philanthropic reach throughout the South Florida community."

The additional three recipients of the Community Champions Grant Program included Trees of Hope, a non-profit organization committed to preventing sexual abuse; the non-profit HANDY, an organization dedicated to helping children and young adults who have been removed from their homes due to domestic violence, substance abuse, physical and/or sexual abuse and abandonment; and ARC Broward, a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Those checks were presented at Florida Panthers games on Oct. 20, Oct.22 and Nov.1.
