PRLog -- Catalytic Combustion Corporation announced today that their line of integrated emissions systems has expanded into new markets with recent sizeable orders. CCC has launched a Power Generation Business Unit (http://www.catalyticcombustion.com/
en-us/power-
generation/) that expands upon the company's longstanding expertise in engineering and manufacturing emissions control equipment to now include sound attenuation together in one single component. The benefit for the end-user is one component for two (2) technologies to save space and reduce installation time. The equipment not only allows the end user to be compliant with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 40 CFR 63 Subpart ZZZZ regulations, but it also provides exhaust silencing for worker protection and safety. The EPA regulation is known as the RICE Rule or RICE NESHAP and focuses on significant carbon monoxide (CO) reduction and affects many sites throughout the United States and particularly those in the Power Generation industry. CCC integrated emissions and silencing design significantly exceeds the EPA's minimum reduction requirement for CO emissions. This important expansion and customer order will be used for diesel power generation units at one of the largest railroad yards in the Midwest, with future expansions and additional orders planned.
