Challenge To Millennials: Nonprofit Casa Esperanza Of Angels Calls For Volunteers

The charity nonprofit organization Casa Esperanza Of Angels (CEA) Foundation, Inc. is calling for millennial volunteers to join them in a scheduled a community outreach event in January 2017 to benefit poor children from Tanjay City.

TANJAY CITY, Philippines - Dec. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- The charity nonprofit organization Casa Esperanza of Angels (CEA) Foundation Inc. has issued a call for young professionals from Tanjay City in the Philippines to join them as volunteers in their planned community outreach project happening in January 28, 2017 at Sitio Baybay, Barangay San Isidro, in this city.

"This is a fun-filled community outreach activity for the poor children of Sitio Baybay and their families," shared Georgia Brown, Casa Esperanza of Angels' Activities Director. "We would like to make them feel that there are people like us that care for them."

Tanjay City is a thriving community in Negros Oriental province in central Philippines. There's a sizeable sector of young professionals here, the so-called millennials, who constantly seek volunteer opportunities to help their favorite causes and advocacies.

"We are hoping to have volunteers from Tanjay City who have the heart for the poor and for children – energetic and enthusiastic about helping the less fortunate," stressed Ms. Brown. "We want these volunteers to have a good time helping others, we're hoping that they'll join us in our future outreach programs."

The activity is a small-scale charity event designed to benefit 45 children and 19 families from the poor fishing village of Sitio Baybay. Without volunteers, however, the nonprofit will find it difficult to pull it off without upsetting its limited budget because of the remoteness of the location.

"The volunteers will assist us in setting up the venue, planning the program and games, distribution of the packages and food to the kids and for cleaning up after the activity," explained Ms. Brown.

In recent years, with the economic boom that the Philippines currently enjoys, volunteerism among affluent millennials and older cohorts have increased significantly as more people try to find ways to give back and spread the prosperity. More info about this activity at:

"The volunteers will learn the value of sharing and giving may it be big or small, from this activity. They will also learn to appreciate and be grateful of what they have," revealed Ms. Brown.  "Just to see the smiles of the children and their families will surely melt their hearts."
