Innovations Captures Artistic Process in New Wallcovering

NEW YORK - March 28, 2017 - PRLog -- Art is the first place the Innovations Design Studio looks for inspiration. Both art and the artistic process, a constant loop of creation and recreation, were the impetus for Innovations' spring 2017 collection: 10 new wallcoverings with innovative patterns, textures and colorations designed for hospitality, commercial and residential interiors.

One of Innovations' new-for-spring wallcoverings, Kaleidoscope, captures the play of light and color in a whimsical print. Both metaphor for and product of the artistic process, 35-inch Kaleidoscope layers materials and inspiration—natural cork, colors from fashion and the painterly influence of artist Philip Taaffe—in a chance motif. Like the smallest shifts of glass and mirrors, each of Kaleidoscope's six colorways takes on a life of its own from deep Cobalt Blue to sweet Honey Amber.
