Alta Lodge Opens For Summer Season

ALTA, Utah - May 8, 2017 - PRLog -- Alta Lodge opens for summer season on June 4. From June through October 1, the Lodge is open seven days a week for weddings, conferences, retreats, private parties and individual lodging. Alta Lodge has 44 lodging rooms with mountain views and offers full conference and dining services. Lodging rates begin at $99 for a standard double room and include continental breakfast.  Saturday night rates begin at $129 and include Sunday Brunch for two.

Sunday Brunch begins June 4 and is a favorite of many locals. The brunch features a variety of entrées, salads, baked goods and desserts. Popular menu items include yam and kale strata, Ponzu salmon, eggs Benedict with homemade biscuits and country ham, corned beef hash, Beehive cheddar mac and cheese, Vietnamese noodle salad, roasted maple glazed Brussels sprout salad, crème brûlée, cannoli and pot de crème. Belgian waffles with berry compote and eggs Benedict are made to order. Brunch is served from 9:30 am to 2 pm.  Prices are $27.95 for adults, $14.95 for kids ages 7-12, and $6.95 for those under age 6.  Beer, wine and cocktails are served beginning at 11:30 am. Saturday lunch begins on June 10 and is served from 11 am to 2 pm.

    Opened in 1940 by the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad as Alta's first ski lodge, the Lodge has been owned and operated by the Levitt family since 1959. Alta Lodge is part of a rare tradition of mountain inns where the attentiveness and warmth of a family-owned hotel is combined with the pleasures of excellent dining and comfortable surroundings.
