NuGenTec Launches Aerosol Line with FluoSolv® BA Aerospace Degreaser

EMERYVILLE, Calif. - May 30, 2017 - PRLog -- NuGenTec, a manufacturer of specially-formulated, Earth-friendly cleaners and chemicals, has diversified their product line with the introduction of their first aerosol product: FluoSolv® BA flux remover.

Drop-In Replacement for nPB, TCE & Other Solvents

NuGenTec's FluoSolv® BA aerosol cleaner is based on a proprietary blend of environmentally safe chemicals and alcohol, engineered for defluxing and white residue removal. A nonflammable, multipurpose solution, it can also be used as a degreaser and a spray-and-wipe cleaner. FluoSolv® unique formula is especially well-suited for aerospace industry applications.

FluoSolv® BA serves as a drop-in replacement for discontinued and/or banned defluxers made with solvents like 1-Bromopropane/n-propylbromide (nPB) and trichloroethylene (TCE). It can also be used as a substitute for other cleaners, such as Asahi AK-225, HCFC-141b, and similar products from other well-known manufacturers. As the chemicals they contain are highly toxic, hazardous, and, in the case of HCFC-225, HCFC-141b, and R-141b, ozone-depleting, these products are no longer available commercially.

FluoSolv® BA aerosol cleaner provides an ideal balance of performance, worker safety, and desirable environmental properties. It is non-ozone depleting, with low global warming potential, low toxicity, and high allowable exposure limit (AEL).

In testing, NuGenTec discovered that, to clean metal surfaces in the shortest possible time, the solvent must flow extremely close to the surface to "catch and release" contaminants. To that end, the company's solvent blending technology provides optimal defluxing, degreasing, and cleaning performance by leveraging the chemical solvency and physical properties of FluoSolv BA, such as density, surface tension, and viscosity.

FluoSolv® BA degreaser and defluxer is one of the first aerosol product produced by NuGenTec; their D-Flux flux remover is also available in aerosol form. In the years to come, NuGenTec plans to further expand their product offerings with additional aerosol products.
