Follow on Google News | Christensen Law Offers Distracted Driving Awareness ScholarshipBy: Christensen Law Eligibility: The $2,500 scholarship contest is open to anyone in the United States who is pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited college or university. Proof of enrollment is required. The scholarship is open to every major or degree. A check for the full amount will be made payable to the recipient's college or university and the student will be expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations. To Apply: Students are to write an essay (maximum of 2,000 words) about how distracted driving impacted their life. The essay can be a personal story, a campaign they've been involved in, an article reference, or fiction or non-fiction story. The scholarship application and essay must be postmarked by July 15, 2017. A decision will be rendered and a winner will be notified by August 15, 2017.
