SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - July 3, 2017 - PRLog -- Christensen Law (https://www.davidchristensenlaw.com/), specializing in helping victims of automobile and truck accidents, has seen first hand the devastating effects of a distracted driving accident. The firm has represented clients who have suffered severe injuries that could have easily been avoided had the driver not looked down at their phone while driving. In an effort to reduce distracted driving accidents, Christensen Law is offering a $2,500 scholarship to one student to raise awareness and hopefully impact the number of distracted driving accidents in 2017.

Eligibility: The $2,500 scholarship contest is open to anyone in the United States who is pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited college or university. Proof of enrollment is required. The scholarship is open to every major or degree. A check for the full amount will be made payable to the recipient's college or university and the student will be expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

The essay can be a personal story, a campaign they've been involved in, an article reference, or fiction or non-fiction story.
