By: Plaza Hotel & Casino A self-taught pianist and composer, Spadoni has been performing regularly downtown and on the Las Vegas Strip for the past seven years. He is now appearing at Oscar's with live performances of original songs and creative covers from Bach to Britney. Spadoni has enjoyed a very successful career in Las Vegas, especially in the downtown area. As a piano/theatre major at the Las Vegas Academy, his early ambitions to be a film composer lead him to study composition with Virko Baley at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on a piano scholarship. Since then he has scored two films and several shorts. He got his first taste of live performances and band life when he played and toured with The Rooks and Modern Science. He also began to regularly perform at Don't Tell Mama in downtown Las Vegas. Spadoni then started his own band to feature his original songs. His first show fronting his live band was at the House of Blues, where he competed against eight other bands for Mix 94.1's "Band Battle for Bite." He won first place, and it led to the band opening up for Sheryl Crow at the Joint. Since then, Spadoni has been performing at various Vegas venues and composing songs while also developing an app for a new experience in live performance funded by the Downtown Project.
