Zachary Tinkle: 2017 Central States Region Super Cups Champion & Top Qualifier

PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Oct. 5, 2017 - PRLog -- It is with resounding joy that Tinkle Family Racing announces that its driver of the #53 Rainbow Rocket minicup car, Zachary Tinkle, is the 2017 Central States Region Super Cups Champion.  It was a year of challenges and triumphs, but Tinkle prevailed in the end. In addition to the championship, Tinkle is the Top Qualifier for the Year having accumulated the highest number of fastest qualifier points over the season.

Tinkle did this while also training full time with Lorz Motorsports in a late model in anticipation of his competing full time in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance series in 2018. His Lorz Motorsports team was extraordinary at working with TfR to keep Zachary in the championship with a couple double duty race weekends.

Tinkle Family Racing would like to thank Rick Cowan for his help with car maintenance at the beginning of the season, Scott Struthers for helping us at Grundy County Speedway on a couple super busy weekends, Jamie and Steve Domski for trackside help, Mike Kunert and Lorz Motorsports for some setup support and advice. A special shout out and thank you goes to Walt and Dallas Frueh of Dallas Frueh Racing. This dynamic duo has been supportive of Zachary since his rookie season, but went above and beyond in helping Tinkle Family Racing keep and get the car on the track — especially for the critical last race of the season that sealed the championship.

TfR would also like to say thank you to all the tracks where Zachary has learned and grown throughout his minicup racing career. These include Anderson Speedway, Dells Raceway Park, Grundy County Speedway, Madison International Speedway, and Rockford Speedway with a special thank you to Anderson Speedway with their support of online promotions and great care when Zachary had his one major super cup crash there in September. We encourage you to get out and support your local short track.

This was a phenomenal year for family and fans coming out to the races. It was so cool to come out of the pits and find people walking around in Zachary Tinkle t-shirts and meeting fans that came back year after year for goody bags and hero cards. We hope to continue that spirit as Zachary moves up in 2018.
