This 4th Nongsa Carnival was taken two days event. Day 1 - Friday 13th 2017 was a Workshop entitled " Successful in Organizing International Event " is aim to helps the participants to understand the important aspects on organizing event anda step-by-step guide being a successful organizing event this objective is related to Batam as Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Event destination. The workshop was conducted by The Moderator , Ms. Ripka Sembiring, a professionally she is a Cluster Director Sales & Marketing Swiss-Belhotel Batam , who introduced the facilitators. The 30 minute presentations from 3 facilitators were conducted by facilitators namely Mr. Adrian Mok ( Director Hivelocity Ltd Singapore ) , Mr. Adeva K Sankuny ( CEO of Asia Pacific Operations Asia Leading Resort Inc Singapore ) , and Mr. Sumantri Endang ( General Manager Turi Beach Resort Batam- Indonesia ) . An interactive question & answer session were also conducted by moderator . As a closingworkshop, Turi Beach Resort gave theparticipants a certificate that was referred to each of them and followed with group photos Day 2 – Saturday 14th October 2017 was " Indonesian Night " . Guests arriving at lobby being welcomed by traditional ancient Indonesian Gamelan "Rindik " Bali . The highlights of the event was " Indonesian Night Alfresco Gala Dinner " which took at Yacht Club terrace. It was featuring a lavish of the best Nusantara Buffet inspired by the top 30 best Indonesian culinary icons. The event begin with " Sekapur Sirih " a Malay tradition welcome dance, followed by , Mr. Sumantri Endang the General Manager of the resortgiving a welcome remark at the stage. The different from last year Nongsa Carnival , this year , the 4th Nongsa Carnival livened by carnival fashion show, Keroncong rhythm performance, Indonesian ethnic and modern dance, interactive games , and crooned with the live band. Another eyes catching entertainment are a lively kids ride the sampan or traditional boat at aqua river which a transformation of Turi Beach Resort aqua swimming pool and lively EGRANG a green games of Indonesia, Egrang or stilts is a traditional plaything 2 rods made of bamboo which has pedestal bottom as well as lively folk riding old bicycle. Even more, there were a night fly board show and a spectacular open-sea fireworks amongst others. Attended by international tourists at least by 10 countries namely : Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippine, Netherland, German, Korea, India, Spain and from United Kingdom on the event as well as preventative from Ministry of Tourism Indonesia, medias & bloggers . The aim of Nongsa Carnival is to increase the number of the international tourist visiting Nongsa, Batam Island as a destination which appears as a unique and attractive spot" at least 300 international tourist recorded from Friday, Saturday and Sunday said Mr. Sumantri Endang as a resort General Manager as well as the founder of the 4th Nongsa Carnival. The 4th Nongsa Carnival 2017 was fully supported by Wonderful Indonesia, Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia.
