United Premier Soccer League Announces Florida Conference Expansion with Miami Dade FC Elite

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 26, 2017 - PRLog -- The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce Miami Dade FC Elite as a new member starting with the 2017 Fall Season.

Based in South Florida, Miami Dade FC Elite will begin UPSL play in the Florida Conference.

United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "The UPSL Florida Conference continues to get grow and expand, and we're excited the Miami-Dade FC Elite will be joining as anew member of our league. The team is led by soccer-specific personnel with international credentials and has the full support of Miami-Dade FC Academy, one of the most successful soccer schools in the country. We wish Miami-Dade FC Elite the best as it kicks off this season."

Operated by Edwin Piscoya, Louis Solano and Jonathan Lozano, Miami Dade FC Elite is the only Pro Development team sponsored by Miami Dade FC Academy.

Piscoya, 34, is General Manager of Miami Dade FC Academy and Head Coach of its u19 team. A native of Peru, Piscoya has a NSCAA National 'E' Coaching License and will serve as the team's General Manager.

Miami Dade FC Elite General Manager Edwin Piscoya said, "We're trying to promote youth players and the UPSL is a great opportunity for youth players because it's our goal to send players to pro clubs in Argentina, Colombia and Portugal. That's the main reason why we do this – we're looking for skills and talent, yeah, but to make it in professional soccer you have to have to whole package."

Solano, 45, will serve as Chief Financial Officer. Lozano, 25, is the team's first Head Coach.

"We have a very strong administrative team working for this team," Piscoya said. "We already have three-to-four scouts out there working for us here locally in Miami, and also one each in Argentina and Colombia."

Miami Dade FC Elite will play its UPSL home games at Amelia Earhart Park (401 E. 65th Street, Hialeah, FL 33013) in compliance with UPSL's Minimum Standards. The team soon will announce its upcoming game schedule.
