at the Ukrainian National Museum

Presence exhibit is of a creative duo, mom and daughter, Olga Fedoruk artist ,art historian and Oksana Kami (Fedoruk-Terletskaya) photographer . Poetry, painting and spontaneous inspiration, urbanism with surrealism are what create the exhibition "Presence". The inspiration of this event is found in the poetry of Bogdan Igor Antonych.

Olga Fedoruk, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, she is well-known in Ukraine who has participated in many exhibitions. Her graphic compositions were awarded international awards, she has also presented at the Ukrainian Embassy in Ukraine .Among the works that will be on display in Chicago, is a sacred theme from the series Madonna, and paintings of nature theme. The artist graduated from the Lviv School of Applied and Decorative Arts. I. Trush, Department of Fine Arts (1978) and Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts Department of Art Ceramics (1984).

Oksana Fedoruk-Terletskaya graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Arts and graduate school, she participated in student and youth exhibitions as an art historian and graphic artist. She has made Chicago her permanent residence. Her photography has received recognition among the photograph and art critics.

The exhibit opens Friday, November 3, 2017at 7:00 pm.  Admission: Adults, $10.00 children under 12-Free. The exhibit will continue through November 24, 2017.

The Ukrainian National Museum is located in the heart of the Ukrainian Village, at 2249 West Superior Street in Chicago. Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Adults $5.00, Children under 12 - Free.
