The Bear Creek School's Performing Arts Department Presents "An Evening of Mystery"

REDMOND, Wash. - Nov. 13, 2017 - PRLog -- Bear Creek's Upper School drama students will present An Evening of Mystery, three one-act plays based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, on November 17 and 18, 2017.

The Beryl Coronet, The Copper Beeches, and The Blue Carbuncle represent but a tiny portion of the fifty-six short stories penned by Doyle, a practicing medical physician of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. In his tales, Sherlock Holmes, a consulting detective, is depicted as a man of advanced intellect who solves crimes using deduction, inference, and observation. His skills and methods are far superior to those of Scotland Yard and quite often give rise to embarrassment for the local investigative establishment. The famous detective's adventures are chronicled by his good friend and companion, Dr. Watson. Following Holmes on his journeys, Watson often finds himself at a loss as he tries to keep pace with the adventuresome sleuth. These three condensed Doyle mysteries will provide you with an evening of enjoyable entertainment. Our Bear Creek actors are very excited to share their interpretations of the various characters and plots which develop as the stories unfold.

In lieu of charging admission, donations will be accepted to help complete Bear Creek's Performing Arts Center, creating a high-quality, dedicated theater that will complement the excellence of the school's performing arts programs.

All performances are open to the public. The Bear Creek School Cornerstone Theater, 8905 208th Ave NE, Redmond WA, 98053, 452-898-1720, www.tbcs.org
