Awards and accolades

Hub's restaurant received the 2010, 2011, and 2012 Skokie Beautification Awards for maintaining their property in an exceptional manner!

The restaurant also achieved national acclaim when NBC's Saturday Night Live parodied the business in the early 90s. The restaurant was used as inspiration for two humorous sketches where the phrase "You like-a da juice, ah?" was born. The actors in the skits were Jason Alexander, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, David Spade, Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, Kevin Kline, Rob Schneider, Kevin Nealor and Phil Hartman.
