William Lusk Begins Strategic Advisor Role for Maritime & Port Security ISAO

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dec. 4, 2017 - PRLog -- Ocean County Engineering & Applied Nautical Services LLC (OCEANS) proudly announces that William Lusk, Program Manager, has agreed to become a Strategic Advisor for the Maritime & Port Security Information Sharing and Analysis Organization (MPS-ISAO) for a two year term.

To encourage voluntary information sharing related to cybersecurity risks and incidents threatening interests of the United States, President Obama issued Executive Order 13691 which directed the Secretary of Homeland Security to encourage the development and formation of ISAOs. Specifically, the MPS-ISAO's mission is to enable Maritime and Port cyber resilience and cyber security, situational awareness information sharing and coordinated response, and to support best practice adoption and workforce education.

"Strategic advisors are responsible for advising the MPS-ISAO on issues of importance to enable the resilience of the Maritime & Port global critical infrastructure, contributing recommendations to support MPS-ISAO products, services, and program or project initiatives," said Christy Coffey, MPSISAO's Vice President of Member Services. "William Lusk is recognized in the Maritime and Port community as a subject matter expert in our strategic priorities with the ability to assist in the advancement of MPS-ISAO's mission."
