William Carr, Proprietor and Master Photographer, has excelled in capturing alluring places around the world. The exquisite beauty and depth of his work draw the viewer into a very intimate relationship with these stunning scenes. Carr travels like a native through distant lands, maintaining respect for the subtlety of other cultures and their relationship with the planet. Dana Kennedy has photographed throughout some of the most remote and wild landscapes of Africa. She blends light and imagery to produce unforgettable photographs that capture life in motion. Her artwork, Unleashed Fury and Spotlight, depicting elephants in their natural environs, have received critical acclaim from National Geographic and Africa Geographic. Her passion shows through her work and her words, "Saving these creatures must be a global mandate that ensures that the world never ceases to hear the distant roar of a lion at dawn..." Jeff Vermeeren works with various metals as his canvas. In his process, he uses a combination of fire, ice, pressure, and a wide range of unstable chemicals to elicit different effects of color and light. The result is a 3-D effect of abstract, emblazoned hues. Vermeeren, a modern-day alchemist of elements, creates metal art that seems to encourage one to get lost in colors as they embrace evolving images of change. Each artist has personal accounts and intriguing stories that speak of passion and commitment for their life's work. Come listen for yourself! As William Carr summarizes, "My greatest hope is to nourish a World Focus on the preservation and conservation of the miraculous places we call home." Come to be inspired as you listen to their incredible stories, and remember what a magical world it is we live in. You will leave with fresh joy and appreciation in your heart.
