Maverick Industries Debuts New Products at CES 2018

LAS VEGAS - Jan. 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Maverick Industries Inc. is introducing several items under its iChef brand of cooking and barbecue thermometers at the 2018 CES show. They are proud to showcase the very first Alexa-enabled food thermometer to hit the market, and all the units showcased offer a wireless transmission, with most being WiFi compatible.

The iChef Voice-Activated Thermometer ET-739 Model works with Amazon's Alexa to inform the user on the temperature of their food and send alerts when the food will be ready. At any point, the user can ask Alexa the temperature of the meat cooking in the oven or on the grill. This unit is WiFi capable, allowing the temperature to be viewed remotely from anywhere on a mobile device. With color changing LCDs on the top of the device, the user will effortlessly know the stages of their food while it's cooking. Colors include blue to signify rare, orange for medium, and red for well-done. The device includes two probes allowing multiple foods to be monitored at the same time and a long battery life of up to ten hours, ideal for smoking food outdoors.

Another item to be shown at CES is the WiFi-enabled Roasting and Barbecue Thermometer ET-736, which utilizes an iOS and Android compatible app to check cooking progress from anywhere. Similar to the ET-739, this device comes with two probes to monitor multiple foods. Complete with the Anticipation feature, the user will be alerted on their smartphone when their food is done cooking. The unit is capable of downloading recipes from the internet and storing personal recipes that can be shared with friends and family. The ET-736 can either be plugged into a direct current or used with the rechargeable battery.

The Bluetooth Barbecue Thermometer ET-735 uses a Bluetooth app that is both iOS and Android compatible. This thermometer holds up to four probes that can be individually programmed for different foods. It contains a full line of pre-set temperatures for a variety of different foods, including game meats. The device is easy to connect and notifies the user of updates to let them know when their food is done by sending an alert.
