Banks of Africa Advertising Awards in Sandton, South Africa

SANDTON, South Africa - Jan. 11, 2018 - PRLog -- On Friday February 23, 2018, the Banks of Africa Advertising Awards 2018 will hold at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, 2 Gwen Lane, Sandown, Sandton, 2196, South Africa.  Banks of Africa is an initiative to recognize and promote financial service excellence across the continent.  The Advertising Awards event is dedicated to celebrating outstanding achievements in financial marketing and communications.  It is organized Africa to America Productions based in New York, USA.

Scope

This year's event will focus on financial institutions and the advertising agencies that cater to them in three sub-regions: West Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa.

Categories

Various categories will include OutstandingTelevision Commercial; Outstanding Radio Jingle; Outstanding Digital Advert; Outstanding Experiential Marketing; Outstanding Brand; Outstanding Brand Extension / Innovation; Outstanding Campaign; Outstanding Head of Communications; Outstanding Advert Agency and Outstanding Central Bank.  There will also be a special award for Global Recognition to be presented to a banker that has pursued a career to universal acclaim.

Nominations

A Nominations Panel consisting of professionals in the media and communications industry has been set up.  The panel has members from each of the African sub-regions.  The panel members submit five nominations per category, which are collated to determine the top five nominees.

Event Registration

The nominated institutions in each category are welcome to participate in the event.  Registration will come with a table for six at the awards gala and a full page color advert in the Awards Brochure.  There are also sponsorship and advertising opportunities.  The official list of nominees will be announced by mid-January.

Africa to America Productions LLC

Africa to America Productions is a New York-based creative company committed to empowering Africans within the continent and in the Diaspora. The company is engaged in the production of events, training programs, publications and audio-visual presentations. Various events are organized by the company, such as the African Mayors & Local Government Summit, MDG Ambassadors from Africa Conference, The Great Nigeria SME Trade Mission, Workshop on Women's Empowerment and the Workshop on Gender Equality. On January 31, 2013, the Mayor's Recognition Award was presented by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of Hempstead, New York, for the development of the African Mayors Business Forum, establishing social and economic ties with the African continent.
