The age-old tradition of quilting in the homes of Donegal so many, many years ago is carried on today, this is one of the most individual caps in our range which have been manufactured by Hanna Hats a family business established in County Donegal in 1924. Each and every one is unique with its own variety and selection of tweed patterns and blends of colours. The multitude of colours will match your favourite item of clothing whatever its colour and style. The finest Donegal tweed (pure new wool) woven exclusively for the manufacturer is used for these which are made from individually hand cut and hand assembled caps.

Each are unique and you will never find two exactly the same.

The Plain Tweed Cap designed back in 1968, is available in Grey or Brown Tweed with flecks and blends of colours that pay tribute to the spinners and weavers of fine, pure new Irish wool, is the style most frequently worn in Ireland and is almost as old as the Hills of Donegal.
