Elizabeth Rossi nominated for PMA 2017

PITTSBURGH - Jan. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- The Rossi family is well-known throughout the tri-state area for music, in various forms and genres.  And recently area residents have spoken up and nominated multiple family members for the 2017 Pittsburgh Music Awards in the following categories; Elizabeth Rossi for Best Pianist, her brother Pete Rossi for Best Guitarist, and brother Tony Rossi for Best Drummer.

"I was very excited when I heard the news... it's such an honor to be recognized." says Ms. Rossi.  "Mainly though, I'd like for my brother Pete to win, he was a musical genius."  A striking comment, as Pete Rossi, a professional guitarist/musician, tragically passed away just months ago and was an event which left many in shock.

Elizabeth continues using her writing and composing talents, maintaining residences in California and Pennsylvania.  Pursuing her love for writing and music has led her to create digital recordings for songs and films, and last year received both Best Song and Best Screenplay nominations for her work in the parody of the 2016 Oscar-winning film, "Hell or High Water",
