THE LETTER RED Opens on Valentines Day
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Feb. 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Rumors have been circulating for months in the Hollywood film community.  Initially we heard that the private VIP world premiere would take place in December, then January.  Only today was the date officially confirmed by producer Edward Gusts, co-founder of Helsinki Institute Pictures.

"We've known the release date for months," admitted the charismatic Mr. Gusts.  "Valentine's Day!"  There was a dramatic pause as he looked around the room, smiled, and continued as if delivering the punchline of a joke, "After all, 'The Letter Red' is the perfect date night movie!"

Edward Gusts' comment was, indeed, somewhat of an inside joke.  "The Letter Red" contains violence, "adult" language, and a good amount of blood.  Gusts seems to relish in the company's decision to release it on February 14th.

Secrecy has surrounded the project.  Less than a dozen people have seen the film.  One, who asked to not be identified, gave us this description: "Imagine what you would get if Tarantino rewrote Shakespeare's Macbeth in current day New York, and projected it onto the silver screen!"

We asked producer Edward Gusts about the rumor that a blood mobile would be at the end of the red carpet.  "Partially true," he admitted with that famous twinkle in his eye.  "There's a fair amount of blood in the film.  We felt that the cast, crew, celebrities and VIPs might want to donate real blood as a part of the cinematic experience – replace a portion of that which was shed on the screen."

We wondered if he was serious.  After all, Edward Gusts is a brilliant actor.  He stars in the film and he's known for his pronounced sense of humor.  "Actually," he told us, "it was a serious consideration, but the Red Cross needed more time to coordinate.  That's okay.  We have more films upcoming."

"The Letter Red" will have its private world premiere red-carpet screening at the prestigious Arena Cinelounge, the premier boutique art house cinema located in the heart of Hollywood.  "Don't tell them where we're having the premiere," Edward Gusts said semi-sternly.  Pausing for a moment and with a mischievous smile he added, "No, go ahead.  Maybe it's time to test our security."

Edward Gusts is co-founder of Helsinki Institute Pictures and is available for interviews.  He is represented by Christopher Montgomery of Prodigy Talent (310) 462-2310 cmontgomery@prodigytalent.net
