Las Vegas Entrepreneur Kema Ogden Joins Board of Directors of Doctors for Cannabis Regulation

LAS VEGAS - Feb. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- At a time of national debate on the regulation of adult cannabis use, Kema Ogden, a noted pioneer in Nevada's market, has joined the Board of Directors of Doctors for Cannabis Regulation (DFCR). DFCR is the first and only national physicians organization dedicated to the legalization, taxation and effective regulation of cannabis for adult use. While the majority of members are physicians, DFCR's activities focus primarily on full legalization for personal use by adults rather than medical marijuana initiatives.

Ogden is part owner of Top Notch The Health Center (THC), a minority-owned cannabis dispensary and cultivation business located in Las Vegas. She joins the eight-member board of the Washington D.C.-based advocacy group and will serve on the development committee.

Ogden is the founder and president of The Ogden Family Foundation, where she developed programs which help underserved children and families with health, wellness, and educational programs. She is also Executive Director of Community Outreach Medical Center, a non-profit community clinic that provides medical and behavioral services for low-income and high-risk Southern Nevada residents.
