DALLAS - June 13, 2018 - PRLog -- #WEWOKE the Play, with a blast from the past, and hits on social issues in America.  This thrilling production by producer Antoinette Titus, Co-producer Crystal Manning; of In The Spirit Entertainment Foundation; Director Jason Schulman (Greiner Arts Academy) and In the Spirit' Entertainment Foundation, announce the Summer premier of #WEWOKE a sold out hit preview on March 18th 2018 To an official opening at the South Dallas Cultural Center, Dallas Texas.#WEWOKE has burst in the world with one of the most hottest production in the Dallas-Ft-worth Metroplex. The actors are back with their energetic upbeat portrayals of the pioneers that have changed the world. This production tells #WEWOKE stories of diversity and feature prominent public figures from the early 1950's . 1060's the 1970's that significantly impact America, Black America and Grassroots America.
During the Summer 2018 'In the Spirit Entertainment Foundation' will highlight historical excerpts of historical African-American leaders, Diverse leaders and ancestors from around the globe that played the most significant roles in our past and present, that greatly enhanced the future of African-Americans and will educate on breaking barriers. The Millineal's should see who paved the way.

To name a few characterizations of our African-American icons and legends, the list includes: Shucky Ducky, who plays himself, Rosa Parks, portrayed by Sherry Hurnes, Dr. Huey P. Newton, portrayed by Garrick Thomas,  The Woodstock Era, (the original Coachella) Isabell Cottrell, Portrayed by Crystal Manning,  Michael Jackson, Keiland Holloman, and Harriett Tubman Portrayed by Stacey Sierra,  and many more. All of the actors bring inspiration and moments that significantly changed the lives of each pioneer.

This is a must-see production for all ethnicity, races and genders. These powerful and dramatic adaptations of our rich black and diverse history will be performed and open to the public at the Dallas Public Library located at the Black Box, Hampton-Illinois Branch Library 2951 S.
