The transformer oil filtration procedure is meant for the regeneration of aged oil in transformers. The aged oil may well consist of moisture, dissolved gases or air, dust, carbon products as a result of arcing, rust from drum. These impurities not merely minimize the di-electric strength but in addition induce a substantial ageing with the insulators. ASSEN ZYD transformer oil filtration system will purify, dry and de-aerate oil to ensure dielectric strength and insulating properties of oil is restored.

Performance of ZYD Transformer Oil Filtration units

Water Removal: Overall Water Content ≤3 PPM by removing free, emulsified, and dissolved water.
Particulate Removal: Particle counts as low as 1 micron.
Entrained Air and Gas Removal ≤ 0.3%
Acid Removal: can be equipped with fullers earth towers to neutralize acid and Lower TAN to < 0.03 KOH/g
Dielectric Strength:≥75 kV per ASTM 877
