State-of-the-Art Technologies are coming to the City of Winnsboro, Louisiana

For more than 50 years Winnsboro City Hall clerks have collected checks from the night drop box and physically inserted payments into the billing system, as well in person during the operating business hours.

Alice Wallace  knew the city needed digital payment services for utilities, court citations, and decided to reach out to AdComp Systems Group for help. After many months of careful planning with Mayor Johnson & Alice, the proposal for an advanced cloud-based financial system GovOnTrack and a self-service kiosk, along with web payments, mobile payments and IVR payment services were approved.

JACK the self-service utility payment kiosk will be live 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers will be able to look up their water utility account and make payment by cash, check, or credit card (a 3% convenience fee will apply to credit cards). The customer will then receive a receipt showing payment was made, a benefit previously unavailable. Although customers can still make their payment to a live person in the billing office, JACK will alleviate the wait times.

Cities, will always need a way to collect payments, even for those that prefer to pay in-person. Jackie and Alice's choice of JACK makes the process more convenient, hassle free and less expensive.
