Arizona Crowdfunding Portal Partners with Scottsdale Recovery Center

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - April 2, 2018 - PRLog -- An online equity crowdfunding resource based in Arizona has partnered with the Scottsdale Recovery Center to expand the addiction treatment services that are available in the area.

The privately-owned crowdfunding portal offers its services only to Arizona residents, startups, and existing businesses. It links investors to local entrepreneurs who are allowed to raise $1 million a year while residents looking to contribute can invest $10,000 a year and get shares from the entrepreneurs' businesses.

Representatives of the center have highlighted that the new collaboration looks to mobilize the residents of Scottsdale to personally do what they can to address substance abuse.

The Scottsdale Recovery Center has four different facilities throughout Scottsdale and Phoenix.

The sites admit patients wishing to recover from an alcohol, opioid or another substance use disorder or co-occurring disorders. The services provided include life coaching; family therapy and medically-assisted drug detoxification.

The clinics also have a particular focus on substance-free, holistic treatment methods, which can benefit patients' well-being.

The Scottsdale Recovery Center hopes to raise a total of $1 million with the initiative. The money collected will go toward hiring more addiction treatment specialists and purchasing a new inpatient addiction treatment center among other expansions.
