Visitors will be reminded that each member of the Conrey team also embodies The Conrey Difference in their dreams and aspirations, which are embodied in their Meet the Team photos being throwback childhood images. "We recognized that much of what we insure today was a mere vision, dream or aspiration of things folks thought were important in their youth. Our clients dreamed of owning a business, or a house, or being a mom or dad and having children and so on, so we wanted imagery that evoked that. We believed that by finding imagery, that represented that we understood just how long they have worked to obtain what we are about to insure, that the client or prospective client would sense our level of care, and that the care level would be a difference maker," says Jerry Conrey, MBA, Agency Principal. While competitors have traditional stock images of business professionals, autos, company meetings and computing, the messaging and branding on the Conrey website showcases the hopes and dreams of its clients through children that now are imperative to protect. The team also took into account Forbes reporting on the uptake of women making financial decisions. "The insurance industry, like all others, is recognizing that women think differently, value differently, so we built our site on imagery with children, because it resonated with the females overwhelmingly, and men found it to be just as moving and effective as traditional imagery for insurance websites. When we tested this, it was an overwhelming favorite amongst our focus group reviews, so we ran with it," explains Jerry. Jerry, the former CFO of the American Agents Alliance Insurance Association, a trade group for insurance agents and brokers, holds community at the core of his values, his agency and his staff. He is loyal to those who have dedicated years of "hard work and sweat equity" into their lives and therefore doesn't adhere to the status quo.
